Benjamin Whitehouse

Benjamin Whitehouse’s career began not in finance, but in science. After completing a Bachelor of Science with majors in Biochemistry and Zoology and a Master of Science (Qualifying) in Biochemistry, he spent six years working in biochemistry and genetic engineering. This early experience shaped his analytical mindset and fostered the precision and curiosity that would define his later success in accounting and advisory.

Transitioning from science to commerce, Benjamin earned a Graduate Diploma of Accounting and became a Chartered Accountant, applying his structured, evidence-based approach to business and finance. Over the past 32 years, he has advised a wide range of clients across Australia, from emerging startups to established corporate groups, often in complex or high-stakes contexts involving restructuring, capital raising, and strategic development.

Benjamin is the Founder, CEO, and Director of the Viden Group and the founder of Process AI Pty Ltd—a company developing advanced automation technologies for the accounting profession. His work in artificial intelligence reflects a belief that technology, when guided by human judgment and ethical design, can transform the accuracy and accessibility of financial systems.

Beyond business, Benjamin remains committed to community and endurance challenges, having completed multiple Oxfam Trailwalkers and Kokoda Track events to raise funds for charity.
